But , a few issues in this book 2021 , it was changed the world issues , U.S. military left from Afghanistan , and China isn’t being friendly country any more to the Western European or U.S. , it’s probably . China doesn’t help Mark Watny easily . But , there are hope to rescuing another Mark Watny , because of this book . NASA or , and European countries , ESA will have technologies from , by this book . This book’s writer didn’t know after this book’s future 2020 , as the Corona virus disaster . I know , some Asian countries have higher technologies like U.S. or Europe . And Asia or another areas are companies each other on the Earth . Helps to each other is good or need it . But , it is beautiful “ Fantasy “ .

面白かった。最後までドキドキハラハラしながら楽しく読むことが出来た。 過酷な環境でありながら、工夫し生き延びた。 最後再び会えてよかった。

不運な事故で火星に独り取り残されてしまった男のサバイバル譚。あとは、この設定から想像される通りです。 本作の設定上、生存と脱出がストーリーの軸でありゴールとなることが明確なので、そういう意味では裏切りも無いストレートな物語です。 読者としては安心して(?)、主人公の科学的知識と知恵を総動員してサバイバルする姿を楽しめます。 ただストレートなだけに、後半はちょっとダレちゃった感があるかな。 物語の構造的にもより複雑で最後まで何が起きるのか分からなかった、同著者の後の作「プロジェクト・ヘイルメアリー」と比べて物足りない感じがしちゃったのは、読む順番が悪いですね。
